Mary founded DPM in 2015 after identifying a clear gap in the market for executive residential property management. Mary has 20+ years’ experience in Business Administration and Residential Property Investment in Dunedin & Central Otago. Mary has a thorough understanding of the local rental market and has built up a wealth of key contacts within the Industry. Mary is passionate about ensuring owners maximise their investment properties potential by focusing on sound and sustainable management practices.
Rory has been a sounding board at DPM since the beginning, providing financial assurance over the trust accounting process, client monies and rental allocations. Rory has a strong focus on compliance and governance, having trained and qualified as a Chartered Accountant at BDO in Auckland. Rory also lived in London for 5 years where he worked as a Senior Fund Accountant for one of the worlds' largest private equity firms. Rory is currently the Group Financial Controller for WHITEFOX Real Estate based in Melbourne
Mary is our HR & Marketing specialist and has recently completed her diploma in Business, HR Management. Mary has gained great experience after spending four years living and working in London whilst managing to travel Europe. In the UK, Mary worked as a Lettings Negotiator at Winkworth PLC, one of the UK's largest Real Estate Agencies. Mary has a large focus on employee and client experience which has translated to the organic growth of DPM.
Ashley joins DPM with 10 years experience in the Event Management Industry. Not light of big names on her CV, Ashley has spent time in Business Development at the Crowne Plaza and more recently the Distinction Hotel. With a degree in Events Management from the Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh, Ashley never feels too far from home here in Dunedin. The deadline-based nature of events marries up perfectly to property management and has put Ashley in good stead to navigate the intricacies of a demanding portfolio. Since falling in love with NZ, Ashley has also developed an eye for property and is currently building her dream beach house in Brighton.
Monica joined DPM from Bayleys, where she worked as an Administrator to the Commercial Property Team. Prior to Bayleys, Monica worked at Armstrong Prestige as Office Manager where she was involved in managing brand standards and client expectations. Both roles have provided her with the skills required to manage a residential portfolio, which requires extensive multi-tasking, IT management, and critical thinking.
Sarah, an ex DPM landlord comes to us having spent the past fourteen years overseas and more recently the previous seven in Fiji managing a group of island resorts. Here she gained valuable skills in resort management, with her strong attention ensuring the resort were awarded number 1 in Fiji for customer service. Having spent most of her career in the travel and tourism industry, it was a welcome transition to branch into Property Management bringing with her a toolkit focused around administration, and of course, the customer. Sarah very much enjoys being back in Dunedin, with outdoor lifestyle a plenty, and being close to family a key consideration.
